Hopefully someone can help-

I've seen two spelling versions of an Irish word that is the equivalent of
"freedom" or 'redemption"; pronounced 'seersha', as I've read...

Saiorsa
Saorsa

Anyone have a more definite answer on this, or a more correct word? Seeking
a word that has the meaning above; i.e: freedom from the government
oppression... in context.

thanks

Hi,

They're both wrong... it's "saoirse".

Cheers,

I'm not an expert but those two words are not listed in my dictionary.
Saoirse is my dictionary's translation for freedom.
